SOFTWARE & YOUR WORK

Your programs remain yours.

Safarli’s existing license permits no-fee lawful personal, educational and business use of authorized copies. The compiler core is proprietary.

You may create, edit, run and share your independently created Safarli programs and their outputs. The EULA does not claim ownership of them. Other applicable rights still apply.

Third-party components keep their separate licenses, including runtime and linguistic materials. Those licenses take precedence for their respective components. Consult the notices supplied with your exact distribution. In the recorded 0.1.5 package layout, linguistic and runtime notices are under compiler/notices/linguistics and compiler/notices/runtime.

This website reproduces the existing EULA verbatim, version 1.0 of 1 November 2026. It does not replace or extend it. Read the original EULA as text.

# Safarli End User License Agreement (EULA)
Version 1.0 — 2026-11-01

Copyright © 2026 Toghrul Safarli. All rights reserved, except third-party
materials and rights identified separately.

## 1. Software and owner
"Safarli Software" means an authorised binary distribution of the Safarli
compiler, its associated runtime, or the Safarli Visual Studio Code extension.
The rightsholder identified for original Safarli project contributions is
Toghrul Safarli, subject to applicable law and third-party rights.

## 2. No-fee permission to use
For a copy distributed by the rightsholder or an authorised distributor, you
receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable, no-fee permission to
install and use the Safarli Software on devices you are authorised to operate
for lawful personal, educational, or business purposes, subject to these terms.
This is a licence to use, not a transfer of ownership.

You may create, edit, run and share Safarli-language source files and program
outputs that you independently create. This licence does not claim ownership
of your own programs or their outputs. Other applicable rights still apply.

## 3. Protection of the software
Unless separately authorised in writing, you may not publish, distribute,
repackage, sell, sublicense, or provide third parties with copies of the
proprietary Safarli Software or its proprietary source code. Direct users to
the rightsholder's authorised distribution channel instead.

You may not remove or misrepresent copyright, licence, authorship, attribution
or origin notices. You may not use copies of proprietary Safarli code to
publish a derivative or misleadingly represent the original software as yours.

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble Safarli Software for
purposes prohibited by applicable law or these terms, except where an
applicable mandatory legal exception permits the act. In particular, nothing
in this licence removes lawful observation, study, testing, backup or
interoperability rights that cannot legally be waived.

The software must not be used to intentionally facilitate unlawful access,
malware distribution or other unlawful activity. This clause does not
prohibit lawful security research or other non-waivable rights.

Nothing here grants exclusive rights over the general idea of natural-English
programming, the independent creation of similar software, or unprotectable
programming-language concepts.

## 4. Updates and compatibility
An authorised update may include a new Safarli compiler, extension or both.
Updates and platform support are not guaranteed. An external compiler
chosen by a developer may use different terms; its own licence applies.

## 5. Third-party licences
Included third-party resources remain under their separate licences.
Those terms prevail for their respective components. The distribution must
retain required attribution and notices, including applicable linguistic
data licences. This licence does not relicense open data as proprietary.

## 6. Termination
Permission to use may end if you materially breach this licence, subject to
mandatory applicable law. On termination, stop using the affected copy and
remove unauthorised copies, except copies or uses the law permits. Existing
lawful rights and remedies are not displaced.

## 7. Warranty and liability
The software is provided as-is, to the extent permitted by law. No
particular fitness, uninterrupted operation or complete natural-language
comprehension is promised. Nothing excludes liabilities or consumer rights
that cannot lawfully be excluded.

## 8. Applicable law
This licence is intended to be interpreted under the laws of Spain, without
depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable in their country.

## 9. Prior grants
This text governs copies lawfully distributed with it. Earlier valid grants,
including any earlier MIT licences received with a particular copy, are not
retroactively cancelled by this newer licence.

The rightsholder may offer different terms for future versions or separately
licensed use. No patent, registered trademark or state registration is claimed.
